Fire probed at St. Helena pigs lips plant
By The Associated Press

State fire investigators spent Wednesday at a St. Helena Parish plant that sold pickled pigs’ lips by the gallon through grocery and convenience stores around the Southeast.
Arson unit supervisor Donald Carter said they don’t yet know what started the fire. It broke out Monday, when Farm Fresh Foods Suppliers in St. Helena Parish was closed.
The plant between Pine Grove and Montpelier made and packaged gallon jars of snacks including pickled eggs and pork lips, feet and hocks, and smaller jars of those and of pickled sausages and quail eggs.
It sold direct to stores within 150 miles of Mobile, Ala., and to chains including Wal-Mart, Winn Dixie and Piggly Wiggly.
Plant manager Matthew Dufour said Tuesday that the interior was largely gutted, and much of the roof collapsed.

I’m Wroight!

I love differences of opinion.  It’s a game!  As a moral relativist who doesn’t believe “non-fiction” exists, comparing what we think about things is a non-lose, non-lose situation.

But for the game to be played correctly, you should know what you believe and why you believe it.  And you should know that it’s just a belief!  The Right is especially guilty of imagining that there is a Holy basis to their ‘knowledge.’  Like the defense of Israel…  Hey, I’m all for the defense of Israel, but because it’s a good excuse for a fight and good excuses for a fight are hard to come by.

So please feel free to yell and agitate and throw intellectual feces at one another, but stop with the “it’s disgusting”  and “I’m terrified.”  Logic, people, logic!  Not emotion!

Thank you.
