I logged into AOL the other day, and couldn’t find The Book Shelf at all. What’s up with that?
I have been watching the Olympics
I find them in all ways acceptable. I even watched the “opening Ceremony” where they kept those poor indians dancing for nearly 2 hours. I thought it would be shoddy but they really amped it up.
I love the whole idea of these girls who put on boots without ankles and HUGE goggles and go hurling down mountains at 90mph.
“Snowboarders” should be banned. Not a sport of the same caliber.
Appollo Ohno should be stripped of medals for his sickening 6 finger displays.
The canadians womans hokey team can keep their medals since their party was apparently in an empty rink….plus they are bulldykes.
Lindsy Vonn was robbed and Mancuso was robbed even more.
That austrailian who won the gold has a spectacular smile.

Fire probed at St. Helena pigs lips plant
By The Associated Press

State fire investigators spent Wednesday at a St. Helena Parish plant that sold pickled pigs’ lips by the gallon through grocery and convenience stores around the Southeast.
Arson unit supervisor Donald Carter said they don’t yet know what started the fire. It broke out Monday, when Farm Fresh Foods Suppliers in St. Helena Parish was closed.
The plant between Pine Grove and Montpelier made and packaged gallon jars of snacks including pickled eggs and pork lips, feet and hocks, and smaller jars of those and of pickled sausages and quail eggs.
It sold direct to stores within 150 miles of Mobile, Ala., and to chains including Wal-Mart, Winn Dixie and Piggly Wiggly.
Plant manager Matthew Dufour said Tuesday that the interior was largely gutted, and much of the roof collapsed.

Cleaning up a bit
Did a fairly solid update on the site’s database and engine – and while I was at it I slapped this new template up. Anyone care? Prefer the older one? I kind of like this one because it’s very easy to see who wrote a post and how many comments are on it.
I’m just the man behind the green curtain, though.
How is everyone, btw? Hope all are well…
