This New Hope Plantation mobile home park where those 8 people were just

murdered  sounds  like a  really   interesting and  nice  place .   Heres  what  they  say about  it  on the New  Hope  Plantation  site:

New Hope Mobile Home Park

Nestled in the midst of centuries old live oak trees near the center of New Hope Plantation is a restricted low density mobile home park. The park consists of some one hundred large spaces, each 50 x 150 ft., and is serviced by two artesian wells both 1,250 feet deep. The system is operated under a state permit and is fully pressurized and automatic. There is also a complete state approved sewer system on the property. All utilities are located underground.

The mobile home park is in the process of transition to a restricted community for people who enjoy a spacious natural park setting adjacent to the Golden Isles of Georgia. The area enjoys a subtropical climate, but with a full play of the four seasons.”

So  anyhow,  I wrote them  an  email  requesting  a  listing  of  any  available   homes  at the  park,  and  by  the  way  the  weather  sounds  very  temperate  ,  here’s  the   site  and  you  can   look at the  climate  :

I was searching around for a free live feed to see the Kennedy funeral

tomorrow (it appears  there  are  lots) and came  onto the  news that the  elder  Bush will  not  be attending the  funeral  tomorrow.  He  and   his  wife  Barbara sent their condolences to the  Kennedy family  and  it  was  said  he  felt  his  son  being  at the  funeral  would represent  the  family  well.   Here’s   my   guess.   Old  man bush  is  ill .   He’s  85 .   Ex presidents  just   don’t miss  a chance  like  this  if  there  isn’t some  problem.   One more  time in  the  spotlight is  not to  be missed.   so  anyway   , it  will just  be  Bush  jr,  Carter  and  Clinton  at the funeral .

an amazing picture I found

I  was  searching around  on the  web  for  some  other pictures of  Mary  Jo Kopechne other  then  the  standard  one  you  always  see of  her  that  appears to  be  from a  yearbook.  Not  to sound   kinky  or  anything but  I  thought  maybe  Mary  Jo in  a  bikini or  something  .   No  luck  but  i  did   come  on  to  the  most  amazing  shot  of   Mary  Jo actually  in    the  car  as  it  sank  below  the  waters of the  pond   .   You would  have  thought the  photographer would  have saved  Mary Jo  after  taking the  picture  but i  suppose  he  had  a  dilema..   If  he  saved  her  would his  picture have  any   value?  Probably   not .  And  that  in a  nut  shell  is  what  is wrong  with  capitalism .   Anything  for  a  buck   but  anyway   here’s the amazing  picture  :

today  from Kal,  his  eulogy  to  Senator Kennedy who recently  died from  brain  cancer  .   so  here  it is  .   make  of  it what  you  will,

“Let us refrain from saying “Lion of the Senate”……I think his failures were worth more to posterity than his victories. That is a compliment. He endured the Reagan and Dubya years—Like an aged Nerva(Roman Senator who committed suicide rather than live while a tyrant reigned) who refused to die, his life a reproach to kleptocrats, war-mongers and jingoists(Reagan and the Bushes with the Nixon refuse who served as their advisors).

He, of course, made a fool of himself at the Clarence Thomas hearings…Grandstanding to a degree that made Thomas’ a sure bet to don the Robe. His treatment of Bork was vile. Outrage that Bork had rented porn videos??? Ted Kennedy?? Hilarious but, it’s no crime to have flaws.

Was he as great as his champions or friends say? No. Was he as bad as his enemies claimed? No. His endurance in the Senate between 1980 to 2008 was heroic. To, again, endure Reagan, Bush I, Clinton(a jack-ass Ted never liked, to his credit)and Dubya calls up the Golden Age of Heroes. Imagine all the deeds of Hercules multiplied by a thousand…His stand was colossal. He labored and labored and somehow retained and enhanced his dignity in an age that had very little use for it. So let the pundits bray and clap each other on the back over poignant observations and hackneyed Kennedy tropes(tragedy, privilege, youth, Camelot, brothers, etc) and rape his corpse with a blathering indignity he would have shushed.”

This traitorous communist foreigner (hawaiian)…has today been judged by the congressional watchdog of economic matters to have performed so competently in this economic crisis that recovery will begin THIS YEAR.

to wit: ”

“Economic activity will begin to rebound in the second half of 2009, largely the result of fiscal stimulus,” the Congressional Budget Office said in its assessment of the federal budget and U.S. economy.

As a dullwitted bucktoothed retarded inbred Republican I am OUTRAGED by this.  What manner of LEADERSHIP is this???  He didn’t even declare war on a totally irrelavent and unrelated country.  I feel like taking my hogleg to town hall….but then my hogleg is from a REAL HOG.

Wall Street Journal opinion piece …

Very interesting opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal.  Here’s a sampling:

“…after his 1994 health-care defeat, Mr. Clinton did what all smart pols do: He appropriated the most appealing parts of his opponents’ agenda.

“The result was a new Bill Clinton, embracing everything from deregulation and welfare reform to the Defense of Marriage Act. In his 1996 State of the Union, he even struck a Reaganite chord by announcing that ‘the era of Big Government is over.’ From this newly held center, Mr. Clinton advanced his presidency and pushed, both successfully and unfairly, to demonize Mr. Gingrich. Mostly he got away with it.

“In his book ‘The Pact’, historian Steven M. Gillon puts it this way: ‘Ironically, Gingrich’s revolution may have saved the Clinton presidency by freeing him from the control of his party’s more liberal base in Congress, giving him the opportunity to return to the moderate message that helped him win election in the first place.

“It was Gingrich who changed the language of American politics and forced Clinton to play the game on his turf,” he writes. “But it was Clinton who ultimately got the credit and emerged as the decade’s most popular leader.’

“Even in the midst of a Republican resurgence, Mr. Clinton would go on from the defeat to become the first Democrat since FDR to be elected to two terms. By contrast, Mr. Obama’s handling of the health-care debate—making villains out of cable television and insurance companies, questioning the motives of those who disagree, imposing artificial deadlines—suggests a rigidity typically associated with a lack of executive experience and responsibility.”

I don’t know about the slam on Pres. Obama’s executive experience.  I for one think that even the most experienced executive could screw up as badly as the President is doing.
